INSTALLATION
Important information
This product has been designed, manufactured and
marketed according to the following:
- safety objectives of “Low Voltage” Directive 73/23/EEC;
- protection requirements of “EMC” Directive 89/336/EEC
amended by Directive 93/68/EEC.
The appliance has a type “Y” degree of protection against
fire;
it can therefore be placed against a wall higher than the
worktop.
DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
The components of this appliance conform to EEC Directive
89/109; and can therefore come into contact with foodstuffs.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
To be done before connection to the electricity supply.
The appliance must be installed by a qualified electrician who is
fully aware of current safety and installation regulations.
Specifically, installation must be carried out in compliance with
the regulations of the local electricity supply company.
The
appliance must be connected to the electricity supply by
means of an all-pole disconnect switch with minimum
contact gap of 3 mm.
Make sure that the voltage indicated on
the rating plate corresponds to the voltage in your home.
Regulations require that the appliance is earthed: all conductors
(including the earth conductor) must be of the appropriate size.
The manufacturer declines all liability for injury to persons or
animals and for damage to property resulting from failure to
observe the above regulations.
INSTALLING THE HOB
1.
Fit the hob into the housing, as indicated by the
manufacturer
2.
Remove the drawer from the oven and push it into the
housing unit so that the earth wire and connectors of the
hob can be connected. For Oven-Hob connection, ensure
the colours of connectors match. Unscrew the nut of the
earth screw on the top cover of the oven and insert the
yellow/green earth wire, leaving the washer in place. Fully
tighten the nut back onto the screw.

Push the oven into the housing unit so that it is flush with the
front and secure it at the sides using the 4 screws (supplied).
4.
Loosen the screws and remove the trim that secures the
terminal block at the bottom of the oven.
5.
Connect the power supply cable (min 1.0 m long) to the
mains, as shown in the oven diagram.
6.
Close the terminal block and trim again, screwing down
tightly.
7.
Reposition the drawer.
