Electrical connections
The electrical connection must be
made before connecting the
appliance to the mains. The appliance
must be installed by a qualified
technician aware of the current safety
and installation regulations.
Installation must be carried out in
compliance with the directives of the
local electricity company. Make sure
that the voltage specified on the
rating plate is the same as that in your
home. The appliance must be
earthed: only use wires (including the
earth wires) of the appropriate size.
The manufacturer declines any
liability for injury to persons or
animals and damage to property
resulting from failure to observe the
above instructions. For the electrical
connection use an HO5 RR-F type
cable according to the table below:
Power supply voltage
If the hob is already fitted with
a power cable, refer to the
diagram for connection to the
mains supply given on the
product sheet.
The appliance must be
connected to the mains by
means of a multi-pole
disconnecting switch with
minimum contact gap of 3 mm.
Important
: The power cable must
be long enough to allow the hob to
be removed from the worktop and
must be positioned so as to avoid
damage or overheating caused by
contact with the base.
Connection to the terminal board
Note
: The yellow/green earth
wire must be connected to the
terminal with the symbol
and be longer than the other wires.
Strip approx. 70 mm of
sheathing from the power cable
(
B
).
Strip approx. 10 mm of
sheathing from the wires.
Firstly, insert the cable through
the special opening in the
cover. Then insert the power
cable in the cable clamp and
connect the wires to the
terminal block as shown in the
diagram printed on the bottom
of the protection cover.
Secure the power cable
(B)
with the cable clamp.
Fit and secure the protection
cover (
A
) by screwing it to the
bottom part of the hob.
After carrying out the electrical
connection, fit the hob from
the top and hook it to the
support clips, as shown in the
figure.
