Installation
! Before operating your new appliance please read
this instruction booklet carefully. It contains important
information concerning the safe operation, installation
and maintenance of the appliance.
! Please keep these operating instructions for future
reference. Pass them on to possible new owners of the
appliance.
The following instructions are provided for qualified
installers so that they may accomplish installation,
adjustment and technical maintenance operations
correctly and in compliance with current regulations
and standards.
Important: the appliance should be disconnected
from the mains electricity supply before any
adjustment, maintenance, etc. is carried out.
Maximum caution should be used should it be
necessary to keep the appliance connected to the
electricity supply.
The appliance has the following technical
specifications:
Class: 1
Positioning
The dimensions of the appliance are given in the
figure. For trouble-free operation of appliances
installed in housing units, the minimum distances
shown in figure should be observed. Adjacent
surfaces and the wall at the rear should also be able
to withstand an overheating temperature of 65 °C. On
the lower part of the stove there are 4 adjustable feet
with a screw which will allow you to level the stove
when necessary. It is essential for the appliance to be
level. Warping caused by bad positioning could alter
the characteristics and performance of the appliance
itself.
Electrical connection
THE APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
The hob is designed to work with alternating current at
the supply voltage and frequency indicated on the
data plate (situated on the bottom part of the
appliance or on the last page of the instruction
booklet). Make sure that the local supply voltage
corresponds to the voltage indicated on the data
plate. The hob is not fitted with a power supply cable,
as the cable should be sized according to the type of
electrical connection in use (see connection diagram
below). Use a H05VV-F rubber cable.
Open the terminal board following the instructions on
the diagram opposite:
To install the power supply cable, proceed as follows:
• Unscrew the wire clamp screw “V” and the contact
screws.
• Fasten the small cables beneath the screw heads
according to the diagram below.

• Fasten the supply cable in place with the clamp
and close the cover of the terminal board.
Connecting the supply cable to the mains
Install a standardised plug corresponding to the load
indicated on the data plate. When connecting the
cable directly to the mains, install an omnipolar switch
with a minimum contact opening of 3 mm between the
appliance and the mains. The omnipolar switch should
be sized according to the load and should comply
with current regulations (the earth wire should not be
interrupted by the switch). The supply cable must be
in such a position that no part of it can reach a
temperature of 50°C above room temperature. Before
connecting to the power supply, make sure that:
• The limiter valve and the domestic system can
withstand the load from the appliance (see data
plate);
• The mains are properly earthed in compliance with
current directives and regulations;
• There is easy access to the socket and omnipolar
switch, once the hob has been installed.
