! Do not use of adapters, diffusers, metal plates.
They have a negative influence upon the
performance of the induction hob and they
impede that the moka function works properly.
! The function is only available for the front right
cooking zone.
! The auto-cooking sequence can be changed by the
user.
! Fill the bottom part of the moka with cold water
until reach the hole of the safety valve. Do not fill
over the valve.
! Use only ground coffee.
Selecting auto-moka function
The hob must be switched on. The cooking zone for
which the auto-moka function is to be selected must
be switched off.
1. Touch the moka function by pressing the moka
key. Moka led is on and the cooking zone display
alternatively blinks u
symbol and 3 (moka size).
2. Press the cooking zones (+) or (-) keys to select
the desired moka size sequence (3, 4 or 6). The
cooking zone display alternatively blinks u symbol
and the selected number (moka size).
3. The auto-moka function starts 5 seconds after
selecting the auto-moka function.
4. A beep sounds and the moka led and and cooking
zone led start blinking; the cooking zone display
shows the current step power level; the timer display
shows the total time as a counting down time, as
minutes (from 01. to 99.) and as seconds (from 00
to 59) the last minute.
The auto-moka function consists of a sequence of 3
“power level for a time” steps. The factory settings
are shown in the next table:

When the auto-moka function sequence is
completed 3 beeps sounds; the moka led is switched
off; and the cooking zone display shows a 0.
! The factory settings have been calculated with
moka filled with water at 17ºC up to the level of the
pressure relief valve, with mains voltage set at 220V.
! If the moka pot is not placed over the cooking zone,
the display alternatively blinks no pot indication and
current power level. Meanwhile the auto-moka
function continues. If the moka pot is not placed over
the cooking zone before one minute the cooking
zone display shows a 0.
! At the end of the cycle there will still be some water
in a lower part of moka to avoid overheating of the
moka.
Recording new auto-moka sequence
It is possible any time to record a new moka
sequence for any of the moka sizes.
Any new moka sequence must consist of a
maximum of 3 steps of power level, beyond an error
beep shall sound. The maximum total time that is
going to be recorded is 10 minutes, beyond an error
beep shall sound.
The hob must be switched on. The cooking zone
must be switched off.
1. Touch the moka function by pressing the moka
key. Moka led is on and the cooking zone display
alternatively blinks u
symbol and 3 (moka size
sequence).
2. Press the cooking zones (+) or (-) keys to select
the desired moka size sequence (3, 4 or 6). The
cooking zone display alternatively blinks u symbol
and the selected number (moka size).
3. Press simultaneously the cooking zones (+) or (-)
keys (don’t let pass 5 seconds to avoid the function
start).
0 blinks in the cooking zone display and 00
in
the timer displays. The rec/play indicator led blinks
next to the cooking zone display.

Set the first step power level. Recording begins.
The total time that is being recorded is visualized as
a counting up time.
5. Change the power level as desired any time.
Recording continues.
When the coffee is ready touch simultaneously the
cooking zones (+) or (-) keys to record the cooking
sequence. The touch pannel will be automatically
locked. To unclock the pannel press and hold the
Control Panel Loock button.
! The time is visualized as seconds (from 00 to 59)
the first minute, and as minutes (from 01. to 10.)
after.
! The recording stops if power level 0 is selected. 0
power level shall not be recoded as intermediate
step.
The moka function is cancelled in case that a power
level 0 is maintained for 60 seconds.
The innovative automatic Moka function is designed to get
coffee automatically, combined with benefit of induction
technology. The cycle (different for 3-4-6 cups), once
activated, stops automatically and can be personalized.
! Use only stainless steel moka suitable for induction hob
with 80 mm minimum diameter of bottom part.
