SCHOLTES INDUCTION
Induction is the fastest cooking method available and was launched by Scholtès over twenty
years ago.
Unlike traditional cooking zones, induction zones do not heat up the glass surface, but rather
the pan placed on the glass: the pan evenly transfers heat to its contents as long as it is made
of ferromagnetic material.
Here are the strengths of your new appliance:
• Top performance
Your hob is fitted with cooking zones each featuring its own inductor, so you can use several
zones simultaneously and at their maximum rated power.
The rapid rise in temperature and the poor thermal inertia of induction cooking zones allow for
guaranteed control flexibility. Induction is suitable for all types of cooking: from the highest power
setting for fierce heat requirements to the lowest heat setting for delicate dishes, sauces or
melted chocolate.
• Comfort
The layout of the cooking zones, the distinct power of each zone and the timers make this
appliance convenient and useful. The power level display indicates the heating power set.
• Stylish design
The electronic controls integrated beneath the hob's glass top guarantee a perfectly smooth
and uniform surface.
• Safety
During cooking, the pan transmits some of its heat to the vitroceramic glass, which is why we
have fitted each cooking zone with a residual heat indicator to warn you that the temperature is
still above 60°C even after the zone has been turned off.
The controls lock, the emergency safety cut out and the automatic switch-off in the event of
spillage all contribute to making this appliance extremely safe to use.
