Safety devices: the controls lock

Note

When the hob is in use, you can lock the control panel to avoid any accidental changes to the

settings (by children or when cleaning, for example).

Press

key to lock the controls. The indicator light beside

the key comes on.

To unlock the controls, press the

key again. The

indicator light is turned off.

To change the power level setting, disable the controls lock (the indicator light beside

the power disappears).

If the user inadvertently forgets to turn off one or more cooking zones, the corresponding control

is automatically put out of order after a given amount of time. To re-enable the controls, proceed

as above.
