2 - Installation on stone or wood
working table
Make an opening in the worktop following the
dimensions, in millimeters, indicated in:
- Fig. 1A, for glass ceramic hob mod. KU 947-1
- Fig. 1B, for glass ceramic hob mod. EKA
3482-1 li and EKA 3482-1 re.
The dimensions of the hob are indicated in the
respective figures. The distance between the
lower side of the glass-ceramic hob and the
cupboard of the wooden separation panel
must be at least 60 mm.
For practical and easy handling (long-handled
pans, etc.) we suggest to leave a distance of at
least 60 mm between the edges of the built-in
cooktop and any cupboards placed side-by-
side.
- Insert the glass ceramic hob into the
worktop’s opening from above, with the
signs on the front.
The fixing brackets (see Fig. 2) must be in po-
sition T (transport).
- Place the cooktop in the center and fix it with
the special brackets as indicated in Fig. 3.
Place the brackets in position M (assembly)
and screw them to the worktop with a
screwdriver.
If the worktop is 50 mm thick turn the brack-
ets 180° (Fig. 4).
