The different hob controls

Turning on the hob

When you connect the hob to the power supply, a beep

will sound after a few seconds: now you can turn the hob

on by pressing key .

Cooking zone control

Each cooking zone is controlled by control keys, whose

silk screen printing corresponds exactly to the cooking

zone drawings on the hob surface.

and by a power adjustment set comprising two parts:

Radiant 1700 w

Radiant 1200 w

Your hob is fitted with:

• 2 induction cooking zones:

- on the front left, a 1800W zone with booster function

3000W,

- on the front right, a 1200W zone (600W if the front left

zone is boosted to 3000W).

• 2 radiant cooking zones:

- on the back left, a 1700W zone,

- on the back right, a 1200W zone.

• 4 residual heat indicators. Even after the zone has been

turned off, the indicator "H" stays on to warn you that the

corresponding zone is still hot, and at a temperature above

60 °C.

• 4 timers to programme all the cooking zones

independently for up to a maximum of 99 minutes.

• electronic touch controls. It is easy to tell which control

corresponds to which cooking zone: the silk screen printing

of the controls and timers is identical to the cooking zone

silk screen printing on the hob.

To turn the cooking zone on and turn up the heat:

• select the desired cooking zone using the cooking zone

control keys, then set the heating power by pressing keys

+ and/or -.

To turn the cooking zone to maximum heat quickly:

• press key "-" briefly, the number

9 is displayed and the

cooking zone is on 100 % power.

To turn the cooking zone off:

• press both "+" and "-" simultaneously: the cooking zone

power drops immediately to

0 and the zone is turned

off;

• or press the "-" key: the heating power drops progressively

until the zone eventually turns off.

To turn the hob off:

• press key ; the appliance has been turned off. Make

sure you unlock the hob controls before turning it off.

To speed up the rise in temperature on the front left

cooking zone,

• press the" booster" key

, "P" will come up on the

power display. The booster function comes to an

automatic stop after 4 minutes. When the booster function

is on, the front right cooking zone is limited to a maximum

power of 600W.

Programming

The 4 cooking zones can be programmed simultaneously

for up to a maximum of 99 minutes. Once you have selected

the cooking zone and heating power, programme the

cooking time as follows:

• press the programming key

• set the desired time using keys

• confirm the programmed setting by pressing the

programming key once more:

The countdown begins immediately until the end of cooking.

An acoustic signal indicates the end of cooking and the

cooking zone is turned off.
